Lightweight projectors are made for people on the go. If you need to make presentations in a variety of locations, then a lightweight LCD or DLP projector is a must for you. There are several types of lightweight projectors available, and there is considerable difference between a lightweight projector weighing ten pounds and one weighing four pounds.

Weight-wise, projectors can be classified as ultralight (below four pounds), lightweight (4 - 7 pounds), mid-weight (4 – 10 pounds) and normal (above 10 pounds). Depending on your needs, you should choose a projector that meets your size and weight requirements while still producing the quality you need.
