You can also adjust the picture mode to Eco, Dynamic, Cinema or Normal, depending on what you’re watching.

Sound Quality and Connectivity

The Panasonic TH42PX80B has V-audio and 2 full range speakers (160 x 42 mm). Audio output is 20 watts (10 x 2) with ambience and a couple of sound mode (music or speech). As for connectivity, the plasma TV has CI or common interface. It has a SD memory card slot (SDHC compatible), 3 HDMI inputs at the back, 1 composite video input AV3 (RCA phonotype), 1 4-pin mini DIN at the front, RCA phono type connectors, 3 component video input, AV In/Out, RGB In, Q-Link at the back, AV In/Out, S-Video In, RGB In Q-link at the rear, audio input for PC, HDMI and component, monitor out RCA phono type connectors and a headphone jack at the front. You can also link your laptop or personal computer straight to the plasma TV via the 15-pin mini D-sub at the back.
