Post How to Acquire Those Hard- to-Get Tickets How to Acquire Those Hard- to-Get Tickets
by: Jeff Brooks

With the popularity of going to live concerts, Broadway theater shows, and sporting events today, you will often hear the phrase “sold out” when looking for tickets for your favorite concert, show or sports event. So what do you do when you hear those cursed words? Give up? Stay home and turn on the TV? Go bowling?

No! There are ways to get tickets to those sold-out shows. And you don’t have to go to the event and seek out some shady looking character outside wearing a trench coat (a scalper), selling tickets at a cost that would require you to take out a second or third mortgage either.

When you really want to attend a show but the tickets are hard to come by, it is time for you to find and use the services of a quality, professional ticket broker. They can almost always get you good seats, even for hard-to-get or sold-out events.

Unlike scalpers, ticket brokers are professionals. They have developed an established network of ticket sources over many years, so that they can get you tickets for those hard-to-get or sold-out events. That’s why it’s important to work with a ticket broker who has been around for a number of years, not some brand new, Johnny-come-lately outfit. Also, make sure that the ticket broker is reputable. You can check him at the Better Business Bureau or look for other customers reviews.

Usually, ticket brokers are season-ticket buyers themselves or they buy from season-ticket holders who may have tickets to spare. They also make arrangements with the main ticket outlets and venues to buy up quantities of good seats for the hottest concerts, shows and sporting events as soon as they go on sale.

You should make sure that the ticket broker has customer service and will be able to answer all your questions both before and after placing your order. It is also important that your tickets reach you in time, so ask about all the delivery options available.

So the next time you think you will have to miss out on a L.A. Lakers game, Taylor Swift or James Taylor concert, or Broadway show, or even huge events like the Super Bowl, NBA Finals or World Series because it has sold out months in advance, consider contacting a ticket broker. They can often work miracles and get you the tickets you seek.
