Post Three Ways To Save Money At The Box Office
Three Ways To Save Money At The Box Office
by: Andre Barde

Its Friday night and the kids are restless, so you decide to go to the the local theater to check out the latest flick. You order four tickets and the bill rings up to $50! There was a time not to long ago when your wallet did not get depleted just for trying to enjoy the Box Office, add on the candy, popcorn, and soda, and before you leave the cinema you have spent well over $75 for the night. Do not fret my friend, here ill give you a few tips to save money at the box office.

Coupons!, yes there are movie coupons out there, you just have to know where to look. Check out your local paper and online for breaks at the box office. Do a search online for movie ticket coupons and you will find a multitude of sources that will help you on your search to save some money. Also your local box office might offer a frequent movie watcher program. Just like your frequent flyer miles on your credit card, some select theaters offer this service for its on going patrons. When you buy tickets, popcorn, and candy you earn reward points that you can use to redeem free movie tickets.

Another tip to use when attempting to save money at the Box Office is to not buy online. Yes, you can save time by purchasing tickets online, but you might not realize that these services charge surcharges ranging from .75 cents to $2.00. This can add up when purchasing multiple tickets. Sometimes you might think the wait at the box office will be long, but that's not always the case. Do yourself a favor and go straight to the box office to avoid any surcharges.

Saturday mornings are the theaters worst hours for business, because of this fact, many theaters offer movies at discounted rates during these off peak hours. You will end up saving loads of money if you take the time to do a little research and find out which theaters in your area offer this great advantage. Also find out which theaters allow you to bring you own food. I don't have to tell you how much you could save by not buying the box offices highly priced items.

Take advantage of these tips and also just simply call up your local box office and frankly ask them, how can I save some money? They will surely be happy to tell you about any ongoing specials they might be currently promoting. You can save money at the box office, just keep searching and do not get impatient, take your time and find the best deal for you and your family.
