Finding New York Style Pizza, Pasta, Calzone and Stromboli at a Pizzeria in Tampa
by: Chris Lontok

Even if you have never set foot in New York and have, therefore, never had the chance to sample authentic New York style pizza, pasta, calzone and stromboli, you now have the chance to do so. This is because you can now find authentic New York style pizza, pasta, calzone and stromboli at a pizzeria in Tampa, Florida.

New York style pizza, pasta, calzone and stromboli are much loved not only in New York City. Proof of this is the proliferation of pizza restaurants all throughout the United States. New York, New York Pizza, for instance, has two convenient locations in Tampa where it offers NYC brick oven pizzas sold whole or by the slice, along with the other aforementioned specialties. Delivery is also possible within Tampa.

New York style pizza was the New York City version of the traditional Italian dish in the 1900s. It was inspired by the large number of Italian immigrants who populated New York then.

New York style pizza is easy to eat even while the customer is on the go because this is how most New Yorkers take their meals. They choose convenient food they can eat while hurrying to their next destination. New York style pizza is served as a thin crusted wide wedge of hand tossed high gluten bread flour. It is therefore easy to fold in half and is eaten like a sandwich. Because it is usually topped only with cheese and a light sauce, it is not messy to eat.

This does not mean that New York style pizza is not customizable, though. Depending on the preference of the customer, other toppings may still be added to the basic pizza at a price. There are also free condiments made available to enhance the flavor of the pizza, including Parmesan cheese, dried red chili pepper, garlic powder and oregano. For those who prefer to relax in the pizzeria, New York style pizza may be ordered whole and consumed there.

Calzone is like a turnover using the pizza crust and with the pizza toppings as fillings. Folded and sealed before being baked, it is served with marinara sauce on the side. Stromboli is like a pizza that is rolled before being baked. Pasta needs no description because it is a popular favorite nationwide in its various versions.

You do not have to travel to New York City to have a taste of authentic New York style pizza, pasta, calzone and stromboli because these are now available at a pizzeria in the midst of Tampa. You no longer have a reason not to try these treats right now. You can even make like a hip New Yorker by taking a slice of NYC brick oven pizza to eat while brisk walking to your next appointment. You could also walk into the pizzeria for a sit down meal. Even in the office or at home, you can still enjoy New York style pizza, pasta, calzone and stromboli by calling for a delivery to your Tampa address.
