Fruits Bring Back Your Lost Energy In Different Softball Drills

There is no denying that during this season, everybody wants to keep cool. Some people like spend time going to the mall to enjoy the air-conditioned environment while some go to the beach or pool to have their swimming. But for softball players, they still need to keep their focus in the game no matter how hot the season is.

Summer is just around the corner and the perfect time for your team to practice your softball game has come. It is the time for you to improve your game to make it better than before. You need to do the different softball drills that will help you to increase your skills in every aspect so that you will remain energetic and competitive. And since the season is very hot, you have to incorporate some conditioning drills that will keep your energy and agility despite the season.

Because your sport requires a lot of your energy in order to perform hitting and pitching well, you are prone to become dehydrated during this season. You lose so much fluids and electrolytes in your bodies, this is why there are more chances for you to feel tired at once and have muscle cramps, headaches, dizziness, fainting and irritability.

So it is very important to keep your body well hydrated aside from having intensive training doing those exercises and softball drills. Keeping your body well hydrated will help you to make your body temperature normal and will also help to recuperate your stressed muscles. Players drink a lot of water and sports drink because this will replace the loss fluids and electrolytes in their body. But do you know there are certain fruits that will keep you hydrated during summer?

Here are some fruits which you can have as snack not only to satisfy your hunger but also to bring back the lost fluid and electrolytes while doing those softball drills that will enhance your skills further.

• Peaches – it is a fruit which is commonly available during summer and known to be a good source of Vitamin A, C and fiber. This fruit is perfect for those calorie-conscious. It can give you 87.09g of water per piece.

• Berries – berries contain high water content and also rich in Vitamin C and fiber. A cup of strawberries can give your body 138.24g of water and it can also prevent some form of cancer.

• Apples – it is rich in fiber that is why it can prevent cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Eating a lot of apples will give you 118.07 g of water. Another good thing about this is that its skin contains pectin which is helpful to keep the cholesterol in your body balanced.

• Mangoes – this is considered as the king of the fruits which usually grow in tropical countries. It is rich in Vitamin A and C and contains a water content of 134.82g of water.

• Melons – you can find this fruit everywhere during summer. It is a good source of Vitamin A and lycopene which fights cancer. It can give you 140.83 g of water per serving.
