Post Increasing Brightness Of Video Shown By Adobe Flash Player
My OS is Windows 7 and my pc uses the ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics card. The following, however, would likely apply, in a general way, for other graphic cards, too.

Out of curiosity, while watching video, on Adobe Flash Player, I clicked the "DIM" button too many times and this caused the video to, essentially, become too dark.

The problem was that the DIM button had adjusted my video brightness, to -3. So, the solution was to go into my graphics controler interface and re-set the brightness value. (You won't find an "Un-Dim" button, on Adobe Flash Player!)

So, here's how I did it:

1. I right-clicked, on my desktop.

2. At the top of the resulting menu, I opened the "ATI Catalyst Control Center".

3. I clicked on the "All Settings" tab.

4. Under "Basic Color", I unchecked the "Use application settings" box.

5. Then I adjusted "Brightness" up to 84 and clicked "Apply".

You might want to set your brightness, at some other setting, but 84 did the trick, for me.
